Bibury is a little village with a big heritage. Emperor Hirohito of Japan visited in the early 20th century and fell in love with it. Whilst William Morris said, “it was the prettiest village in England”. Now with that reputation, these 3 chutneys had a lot to live up to and they certainly do.
Fennel, Apple & Gin Chutney - This delicate chutney is lightly spiced with fennel seeds, black pepper and coriander seeds, featured in the Gin making process at the Cotswolds Distillery. It can be eaten nicely alongside some great British cheeses, but our favourite way to enjoy it is with some homemade smoked mackerel pâté & toast.
Auntie Caroline’s Fabulous Farmhouse - A traditional pickle with crunchy vegetables and a sweet tang. Perfect on a cheese sandwich or with a Ploughman’s.
Spicy Red Pepper Chutney - Great with cheeses, on top of a burger, or liven up a stir fry or pasta dish - this packs a wonderful warm heat.
